Shooter Profile

a. The beginning student must be able to safely handle a firearm.  If they cannot control the muzzle to keep the shotgun pointed in a safe direction, they are not ready to shoot.

b. A student must have the maturity to understand the potential for harm when handling firearms.

c. From past results, successful new shooters will typically be 10-13 years old and weigh at least 100 pounds.

Lessons

a. Lessons Include:

i. Instruction with a certified coach

ii. Rental of a fitted shotgun

iii. Up to 50 rounds of ammo

iv. Earplugs and eye protection

v. Hands-on instruction:

1. Safe gun handling

2. Shooting techniques

3. Correcting problems

Cost is $25; confirmation one day in advance is required.
